The Bush Program

On our last day in Kenya we visited the children our church currently support. Oasis has started a day program in the bush. About 30 children participate in this once a week program that offers them two square meals (quite possibly the only protein they eat all week), Bible teaching, and fun. About seven of the children are orphans.

 We enjoyed a meal with some of the staff and then got to spend a little time with the kids. Ronn led everyone in a devotional about the lost sheep. We presented them with some sports equipment, and passed out candy. The children were so precious, and thankful for everything they received.
